What happens during a Reiki treatment?
During a treatment, you relax, fully clothed on a therapy bed, or seated in a chair, while the therapist holds his or her hands on or above your body. A full treatment usually lasts an hour, covering all parts of the body and the seven main chakras, however, shorter sessions are available on request.
It is a non-intrusive treatment with no pressure on the body, making it an ideal treatment for all ages and conditions. During a treatment, clients sometimes advise feeling heat or tingling sensations in the body and/or having a sense of deep relaxation following a treatment.
